Ask us to explain and extrapolate your business or service, and we’ll not only provide an engrossing explanation, but a wholly convincing reason for a client to be invested. We tasked ourselves with hosting a tailored virtual reality conference, in response we created a landmark event that’s widely recognised as the best of its kind.
So when it came to creating our brand new website - we knew we couldn’t do it in half measures. We had to do something unique, something eye-catching and most importantly something directly tied to our position as one of the world’s top virtual reality specialists.
As such, we’re incredibly proud to reveal the new Opposable VR website. A full 360° site that perfectly exemplifies the way we do business: it’s creative, intuitive and brilliantly immersive.
We’ve always prided ourselves on our ability to work at the cutting edge of technology. Through augmented reality and multi-touch tech in our early days, to our long-standing expertise with VR, we’ve always looked to push ourselves beyond the comfortable middle ground. So our unique 360° site is an extension of that philosophy.
The concept of creating a 360° website seemed more than a little ‘out there’ at first - there are little to no prior examples and it’s a far cry from the standard web design that essentially all of us have come to expect. Yet through iteration and experimentation we’ve created (if you’ll indulge a little self-congratulation) an incredibly cool and exciting platform.
So be sure to explore every aspect of the site - from our ‘dream factory’ home page to our idyllic seaside client room (you read that right). The site is compatible with both desktop and mobile, with smartphone users having the added benefit of tracked navigation. Essentially allowing you to use your phone as a portal to our own little world!
As if the current site wasn’t innovative enough - we’ve got plans in the works to take things a step further. Be sure to check back with us soon, as we’ll eventually be making the site compatible with virtual reality platforms, so you’ll be able to explore our site using mobile and desktop VR.
As you can probably imagine, during the creation of this site we’ve learned a lot of new and exciting techniques for creating immersive platforms and experiences. We’re already working on new locations to expand the Opposable site - but we’re also putting these new skills to practice for other secret projects.
